The Brain Prize is the world’s largest prize for brain research. It is awarded each year by the Lundbeck Foundation.

It is an international award that recognises and celebrates highly original and groundbreaking advances in any area of brain research, from basic neuroscience to applied clinical research. 

The Brain Prize serves to raise awareness of the winners, their science, and their field of research, to inspire future generations of scientists and to promote a greater appreciation of the importance of brain research, its challenges, and breakthroughs.
